INDIVIDUAL ASSISTANCE IN LEE COUNTY * 65,858 homeowners and renters have been approved for $201,469,072 in federal grants through FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program. This includes: * $144,224,614 in Housing Assistance grants for home repair, home replacement, and/or rental assistance. * $57,244,458 in Other Needs Assistance grants to replace essential household items and for other critical disaster-related expenses. * 11.278 homeowners and renters have been approved for rental assistance. * 44,574 home inspections issued; 30,341 completed. * DISASTER SURVIVOR ASSISTANCE (DSA) visited 4,722 households in Lee County. PUBLIC ASSISTANCE Lee County was approved for assistance for debris removal, emergency protective measures and permanent work.
