The Park Fire was previously approved for a Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) on July 24, 2024, for Butte County. On July 27, the state of California submitted a request for an additional Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) for the Park Fire. At the time of the request, the fire threatened approximately 779 homes in and around the communities of Campbellville, Paynes Valley, Mineral, and Dales Ponderosa Sky Ranch, with a combined population of around 1,815.
