TWO WEEKS LEFT TO APPLY FOR FEMA ASSISTANCE & LOGAN DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER TEMPORARILY CLOSES JUNE 19 [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20240621/two-weeks-left-apply-fema-assistance-logan-disaster-recovery-center] Release Date: June 17, 2024 COLUMBUS – Homeowners and renters with disaster-related damage or loss from the March 14 tornadoes in Auglaize, Crawford, Darke, Delaware, Hancock, Licking, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Richland and Union counties have just two weeks left to apply for assistance from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The application period for federal assistance ends on Monday, July 1, 2024. Individuals who need help applying or have questions about their federal assistance application can visit the Disaster Recovery Center in Logan County or contact the FEMA Helpline. Note, the center will temporarily close on Wednesday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. Normal hours will resume on Thursday, June 20 and the center will remain operational until further notice. The Disaster Recovery Center is located at: Indian Lake EMS District Building 280 N. Oak St. Lakeview, OH 43331 Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Monday – Saturday, Closed Sundays. At the center, Ohioans can meet face to face with specialists from FEMA, SBA and state and local agencies to learn about services and assistance programs available. In addition, survivors can submit documents needed for their applications, learn the status of their applications, receive information on how to appeal, and have their questions about disaster assistance answered.
