FEMA APPROVES AN ADDITIONAL $6 MILLION FOR COLORADO’S COVID-19 RESPONSE [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20231201/fema-approves-additional-6-million-colorados-covid-19-response] DENVER – FEMA has approved an additional $6 million in Public Assistance funding for the COVID-19 response in Colorado. This most recent funding reimburses: * Brighton Community Hospital Association $2,871,916 in FEMA funding for patient care and labor contracts. This funding covers costs from March 3, 2020, to June 30, 2022. * St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center $3,148,804 in FEMA funding for patient care and labor contracts. This funding covers costs from January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022. FEMA has now approved more than $2 billion in Public Assistance grant funds to Colorado for its pandemic response.
