WASHINGTON -- FEMA has made additional disaster assistance available
to the state of Alabama to supplement state and local recovery efforts
in the areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds and
tornadoes on Jan. 12, 2023.

The President authorized the federal cost-share for debris removal and
emergency protective measures to be increased to 100% of the total
eligible costs for a 30-day period of the state’s choosing within
the first 120 days of the incident period.
