It will remain at the new location until it closes permanently at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5. The center is now located at: The Econo Lodge 503 N. JK Powell Blvd. Whiteville, N.C. 28472 Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Wednesday Closing permanently 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5   Individuals and businesses in counties included in the North Carolina federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Florence may still register for assistance before the Dec. 13 deadline by: * Calling the disaster assistance helpline at 800-621-3362 or 800-462-7585 (TTY) anytime from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. local time seven days a week until further notice. Multilingual operators are available. You can update your contact information, ask questions about a letter from FEMA, get information about FEMA home inspections, or learn how to appeal a FEMA decision. * Going online to DisasterAssistance.gov [https://www.disasterassistance.gov/] or DisasterAssistance.gov in Spanish [https://www.disasterassistance.gov/es]. * Downloading the FEMA mobile app [https://www.fema.gov/mobile-app] or the FEMA mobile app in Spanish [https://www.fema.gov/es/aplicacion]. * Downloading the ReadyNC app [https://readync.org/EN/DOWNLOADAPP.html]. * Visiting any of the recovery centers that remain open.
