WASHINGTON -- FEMA is monitoring a broad area of low pressure located
about 800 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. Although conditions are
only marginally conductive, some additional development of this system
is possible and a tropical depression could form during the next
couple of days.

Those in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are urged to take
these steps to prepare now:

 	* Have several ways to receive emergency alerts and warnings.
