FEMA PROVIDES MORE THAN $1.4 MILLION TO ADENA HEALTH SYSTEM [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20210318/fema-provides-more-14-million-adena-health-system] Release Date: Septanm 2, 2020 CHICAGO - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Ohio Emergency Management Agency (Ohio EMA) announced today that $1,462,728 has been made available in federal disaster aid to ADENA Health System for critical emergency protective measures, including healthcare services. This grant funding is part of the recovery efforts in response to the COVID-19 federal disaster declaration of March 31, 2020.  ADENA Health System, with locations throughout southern Ohio, provided personal protective equipment as well as laboratory, pharmacy, facilities and patient care supplies, assisted with communicating general safety information to the public, and provided temporary facilities for triage and screening to eliminate the immediate threat to life, public health and safety during the period of January 20, 2020 and ongoing.     “FEMA’s Public Assistance Program is an important resource for communities affected by COVID-19,” said Kevin M.
