DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER DELAYED OPENING ON DEC. 21 DUE TO FORECASTED INCLEMENT WEATHER [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20250122/wva-disaster-recovery-center-delayed-opening-dec-21-due-forecasted-inclement] Release Date: diciembre 23, 2024 CHARLESTON, W.Va.– Due to forecasted weather, and out of an abundance of caution for Mercer County residents and FEMA staff, the FEMA-state Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Bluefield will have a delayed opening tomorrow, Dec. 21.  FEMA is planning to open the DRC one hour later than previously scheduled, 9 a.m. instead of 8 a.m., and may make additional changes on Saturday morning based on weather conditions.
