TWO STATE/FEDERAL DISASTER RECOVERY CENTERS CLOSING [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20210318/two-statefederal-disaster-recovery-centers-closing] Release Date: abril 22, 2019 DES MOINES, Iowa – Two state/federal Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) will close permanently at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 25. The DRCs are located in Harrison and Woodbury counties at the following locations:   Harrison County Harrison County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building 800 West Huron St. Missouri Valley, IA 51555   Woodbury County Western Iowa Tech Community College The Security Institute (TSI) Building 4647 Stone Ave. Sioux City, IA 51106   The closure does not mean that help for Iowa disaster survivors is going away.  There are other DRCs still open in Iowa for a short time.  Survivors also can visit a Nebraska DRC.  However, information specific to Iowa may not be available at those sites.  To find DRC locations, go to www.fema.gov/DRC [http://www.fema.gov/DRC]. Survivors can still register with FEMA and/or continue to get help with their cases and other general information by calling FEMA’s Helpline at 1-800-621-3362 (voice/711/video relay services).  Multilingual operators are on duty.
